Everyone is short on time these days. It's true. But there doesn't have to be these dumb excuses some people have: "I don't have time for breakfast!".
Enough. Set the alarm 4 mins earlier, let the kids listen to their favourite song, put down your Facebook or Twitter on your phone - you have 4 minutes for your most important meal of the day.
Here is a recipe that if you have a couple of these ingredients on hand, you'll never be able to make that excuse again. It literally takes less than 4 minutes to prep! Oh... and we have found that Nutribullet is also a great blender for single portion smoothies and we TOTALLY recommend it.
Here is a good source of plant protein (hemp and soy milk) and antioxidants (blueberries) to start your day.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 handful of frozen blueberries
- 1 scoop of ice cubes
- 1 scoop of ground hemp
- 300 mL of vanilla soy milk
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
